Forte de 100 ans d'existence, l'ESSCA, Ecole Supérieure des Science Commerciales d'Angers, propose une formation en gestion et en management accessible dès l'obtention du Baccalauréat.Seule école de commerce après Bac accréditée à l'international, l'ESSCA détient 4 labels d'excellence : Conférence des Grandes Ecoles, Diplôme visé, Grade de Master et EPAS.Grande Ecole de commerce, l'ESSCA prépare en 5 ans ses étudiants à devenir des managers responsables dans les métiers du marketing, de la finance, du management, dans un environnement international. L'école offre 4 sites d'enseignement pour un cursus international : Angers, Paris, Budapest et Shanghai ainsi qu'un réseau de 97 universités partenaires dans 40 pays.Elle recrute aussi sur concours des étudiants titulaires d'un diplôme Bac + 3 français et étrangers pour une entrée directe en Master 1.

Les points forts: Je pensais depuis longtemps déjà faire une école de commerce. Après mon bac S, spécialité physique-chimie avec mention européenne allemand, je souhaitais étudier quelque chose de nouveau, de concret. J’ai choisi de préparer le concours de l’ESSCA, avec les annales fournies par l’école. Ce qui m’a étonné en arrivant, c’est le changement dans les matières enseignées. Au commencement de la formation, il y a déjà des cours sur le management, les marchés mondiaux, ou encore la communication interpersonnelle. On entre dessuite dans le vif du sujet. Il reste un peu de maths – surtout des statistiques –, mais plus de physique-chimie ni de philo. La manière de travailler aussi a changé. Fini les exercices et le bachotage : on travaille en groupe, on fait des présentations… Toutefois on est toujours encadrés, avec des objectifs, du tutorat. Ce qui m’a surpris, c’est qu’il y a même une obligation de signer au début de chaque cours et des quotas d’absence. L'encadrement est assez stricte.
