Objectifs: Understanding the conception, behavior and performances of EW receivers. This course is only concerned with RADAR applications. For Telecommunications applications please refer to reference ELA 004. Recommended background on radioelectric receivers.

The course is dedicated to engineers with a basic knowledge of analog and digital signal processing. It is required to have some knowledge of conventional receiving techniques.
It is possible to learn about receiving techniques participating in the course : ELA 001 “Initiation au radar” or ELA 006 “Performances et applications du radar”.
