Immersion Programmes In French For Beginners

LE FRANCAIS FACE A FACE provides one-to-one residential programmes in French aimed at people expecting a fast and solid progression in French and offers 3 immersion programmes with a private monitoring in the magnificient Loire Valley (in the Anjou area and in the city of Nantes).


OUR 3 ONE TO ONE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMES IN FRENCH :

The intensive training - 5 days, renewable
Arrival on Sunday in time for dinner, departure on Saturday morning.
40 hours of interactive course, 60 hours of active immersion with your teacher.
Maximum speaking time for the trainee.
Breakfasts, lunch times and 2 dinners with your private teacher for a truly worthwhile immersion.
Full board provided (all the nights and every meal) in some outstanding places in Anjou (castles and manors in the countryside) or in the city of Nantes (lofts and grand hotels in the very center).

The semi-intensive training - 5 days, renewable
Arrival on Sunday in time for dinner, departure on Saturday morning.
15 hours of interactive course + visits and excursions in the afternoon with your teacher, 60 hours of active immersion with your teacher.
Maximum speaking time for the trainee.
Breakfasts, lunch times and 2 dinners with your private teacher for a truly worthwhile immersion.
Full board provided (all the nights and every meal) in some outstanding places in Anjou or in the city of Nantes (castles and manors in the countryside) or in the city of Nantes (lofts and grand hotels in the very center).

The intensive week-end - 2 days
Arrival on Friday in time for dinner, departure on Sunday before dinner.
18 hours of course, 24 hours of active immersion with your private teacher.
Maximum speaking time for the trainee.
Breakfasts, lunch times and dinners with your private teacher for a truly worthwhile immersion.
Full board provided (all the nights and every meal) in some outstanding places in Anjou or in the city of Nantes (castles and manors in the countryside) or in the city of Nantes (lofts and grand hotels in the very center).


OUR APPROACH TO LEARNING FRENCH :

Individualized personalized programmes : We strongly believe that a one to one total immersion programme is the best and only way to learn to speak a language fast and well and get to the stage where you think in French. To us, total immersion is the only way to achieve this. Personalized total immersion programmes is the only place where you will be given no other choice than to speak and hear French all stay long. Right from the beginning, you gain confidence to speak - no matter how and what - but just speak and communicate - and find that you can! and of course, it is the only way you get even close to starting to think in another language - which means that you stop translating eveything you say from your mother tongue, but actually speak the words and phrases as they should be, because they come straight from your thinking process - not via another language.

Personalised and adapted monitoring : the teacher personally monitors their student throughout the programme. They implement the necessary tools and adapt their course rhythm to meet the defined targets.

From practice to theory : by practicing some concrete situations, emphasize is put on a new rule. No need to explain or translate, it is made obvious.

Maximum speaking time for the trainee : from breakfast to dinner, you can speak with the caring ear of your teacher. The student-protagonist : an interacte method permanently involving the learner in the class. He is the real protagonist of the course sessions.

A logical method process : from one point to another one, a real method.

A supervised immersion : immersion on your own or in a group of foreign people is not truly worthwhile to us. Face to face with your private teacher all day long, you do have real opportunities to learn a lot and the right way.

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMES

LE FRANCAIS FACE A FACE has selected a range of outstanding places for the trainee to feel well during his very demanding immersion programme. As part of the immersion process and whatever the training you choose (intensive or semi intensive), our trainee is accommodated full board either in a castle/manor in the Anjou region or in a outstanding housing in the very center of the city of Nantes (lofts, grand hotels...). Private room and bathroom and 3 categories of comfort are offered (charm, luxury and prestige). Breakfasts and lunch times are with your teacher as well as 2 dinners during your week.
