The École des Ponts Business School has been proudly offering a cycle in International Management (cIM) since 1999, a program which is specially designed to fit the schedules of ParisTech engineering and doctoral students and to offer participants an in-depth introduction to business and management in a weekend format, and with the school’s unique teaching style.
Using an MBA-style pedagogy, classes are interactive in nature, based on case studies, group work and discussions of modern business practice. All courses are taught by a cadre of renowned international professors and all courses are strictly in English. Note: most schools accept cIM classes as part of the English course requirements for an engineering degree.
The cIM program has been specially designed to introduce participants to the Fundamentals of Management (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Operations Management, Human Resources, Strategy) and to complement French engineering curricula. In addition to the core curriculum in Management, the program also includes a more advanced module on Technology & Innovation Management as well as an Entrepreneurship module that integrates innovation and starting a business (from ideation to the marketplace). The program is completed with a final integrative business simulation module, MarkStrat, which calls on learnings from the other program modules and ensures assimilation of key business and management concepts and best practices.
This 10-month, 15 ECTS program is held one weekend per month.
