Bachelor's Degree in Sacred Theology (S.T.B.) - TUP: Evening program

There are ten hours of tuition a week over five years; plus a sixth concluding year consisting of one day of seminars a week. It leads, via an exam before an academic board on general sacred theology, to the Bachelor's Degree in Sacred Theology (S.T.B.), awarded on behalf of the Vatican.
The program offers postgraduate formation in various areas of Philosophy and Theology, following Catholic doctrine, and prepares students to make a qualified contribution and offer a greater service to the Christian community.
The second and third academic year, and the fourth and fifth, are taught as two sets in a cyclical manner. Classes are held on the C/ Alberto Aguilera, 23 Campus, Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 21:30.

It is designed for people who wish to further their knowledge of Catholic doctrine, taken from Sacred Scripture and from Tradition, and who are interested in learning more about the scientific research that enables the mystery of Christ to be presented with increasing clarity, with a detailed focus on the main cultural movements of our times and the problems currently faced by humankind.

University degree (BA, Diploma or Licentiate Degree).
Foreign students who do not hold academic certificates issued in Spanish must present a DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) at B2 level or higher. This diploma is awarded by the Instituto Cervantes.
Students who do not bring the required DELE will take a language test to confirm they have B2 level or higher.
For students who do not have the required DELE, will have intensive courses.

A 6-year cycle (assuming the student already holds a BA, university diploma or licentiate degree). The program leads to the Bachelor's Degree in Sacred Theology (S.T.B.). Once completed, students can continue on to the second cycle of the Licentiate Degree in Theology with five specializations: Dogmatic-fundamental Theology, Sacred Scripture, Moral Theology and Praxis of Christian Life, Spiritual Theology and History of the Church. Successfully completing this second cycle provides access to the Doctorate Program.
