Bachelor in Business Administration

The Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) at the International University of Monaco (IUM) is a 240 ECTS credit, 120 US credit program taught entirely in English. It ensures transferability of credits throughout Europe and in the US, complying with both the European standards of the Bologna Accord and the US requirements.

Designed to nurture tomorrow's business innovators, the BSBA is a broad-ranging undergraduate program that addresses each of the key business disciplines, including corporate management, accounting, finance, marketing, quantitative methods, human resource management, operations and logistics, all from a distinctly international standpoint.

As part of the curriculum, the University is dedicated to developing the interpersonal skills and communicative qualities needed to excel in today's dynamic business environment, and forming imaginative citizens who question and discern.

The program's hallmark is a dual emphasis on theory and practice, seeking to provide a fundamental understanding of the corporate world from economic, environmental, and personal perspectives.

Each student completes a 3-month internship that can be taken anywhere in the world, providing first-hand experience in a real-world business environment. Past students have carried out their internship in many prestigious organizations, including: Merrill Lynch, Churchill Capital, Camper Nicholson, Monaco Marine, Axa Private Equity, UBS, Shanghai, Huang Pu Investment Development Co, CNG Yachting, and the Prince Albert II Foundation.

Students with a strong academic profile may also opt to study abroad for one or two terms with one of several esteemed partner universities, such as American University in Washington DC (US), Suffolk University in Boston (US), University of Miami in Coral Gables (US), UIBE in Beijing (China), Oglethorpe University in Atlanta (US), Tec de Monterrey (Mexico), as well as numerous others.

Rigorous yet expansive, the nine-term program allows students to obtain a full 4-year degree in only three academic years. Students may then choose to follow the 3-Plus-1 degree option which allows them to complete both their bachelor and master degrees in four years.
