1. How to identify the applicable rules within a Company
- sources of employment law
- mandatory rules provided by Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA)
- mandatory rules provided by internal rules and regulations
- consequences of changes in legislation, agreements and case law
2. Analyze the different steps of an employment contract
- the recruitment process
- dealing with employment contracts (fixed term contracts, part-time, indefinite term contracts)
- analyze the mandatory provisions of an employment contract (trial period, remuneration, working time etc.)
- dealing with additional provisions (confidentiality clause, mobility clause, non-compete, non-solicitation, non-dealing, non-poaching, garden leave etc.)
- the evolution of the employment contract (distinguishing the modification of the employment contract and a simple change of the working conditions, procedures to be followed etc.)
3. Manage the employer/employee relationship
- remuneration (bonus/equal pay for equal work principle)
