Admission requirements are based on a combination of secondary school grades, college admission test scores, co-curricular activities and attempted college course work, as well as other indicators of the applicant’s ability and character. Spanish and international students normally enroll in our intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program during their first year of study.

The B.Sc. in Aeronautics & Flight Science Concentration & Business Administration Certificate academic curriculum is completely integrated with that of the St.Louis campus in Missouri. Students can transfer freely between the campuses over the course of their undergraduate degree program. A student who enrolls in an Aeronautics/ Flight Science Concentration & Business Administration Certificate academic Program in Madrid will normally spend the first three semesters in Madrid and then transfer directly to the St.Louis campus or to another US university to finish the final year of the degree program.
Academic courses are offered in English at Saint Louis Madrid campus. Spanish and international students who require them normally enroll in our intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program during their first year of study.
Special program features
-The program has flight courses integrated with business and management courses and prepares the graduate for entry-level positions in charter, corporate, or airline operations. Flight training is conducted under Federal Aviation Regulations Part 141 with an FAA-approved syllabus.
-You can earn the Flight Instructor Certificate and the Flight Instructor-Instrument Airplane rating. The Aviation Science Department offers these courses and you may take them as electives.
-The required flight courses will prepare you for the Private Certificate, the Commercial Certificate, the Instrument Rating, and the Multi-Engine Rating. You may choose to add certificates and ratings for flight instructor, flight instructor-instrument airplane, and multi-engine flight instructor. These courses may be counted as electives in the Aviation Science/Professional Pilot degree program.
How many flight hours will I have accumulated when I receive the Aviation Science / Professional Pilot degree?
The total number of flight hours will vary, but it will usually be from 200 to 250.
